Parameter automation in Lush 2 doesn't work, what to do?

Background
Lush 2 synthesizer has thousands of internal sound parameters and VST/AU/AAX host automation allows only a handful of automatable parameters, so by default all parameters are disabled for automation.
Enabling automation
Bring up context menu by doing mouse right-click over the parameter you wish to enable automation for. Using the menu, you can enable the parameter for automation.
Mouse right-click on Mac
On a Mac, a right-click is referred to as a secondary click. It is used to access shortcut menus and context-sensitive options. For single-button mice, such as the Apple Mouse, you can map a gesture to perform a secondary click. For touchpads and trackpads, use two fingers to click, or remap the gesture to suit your preference.
