Follow these instructions to remove D16 plug-in from your Mac:
Replace [plugin-name] string in below instruction with the product name you're about to uninstall
Go to ~/Library/Application Support/D16 Group/
and remove the [plugin-name]
subfolder
'~' means your user's home directory. Very often "/Library"
folder in
user's home directory is hidden and you won't see it normally in
Finder. If so, please select use one of the two methods:
"~/Library"
in the window and Finder will open this
hidden directory. Then just, browse to Application Support
continue on
down the tree.
Go to [Macintosh HD]/Library/Application Support/D16 Group/
and remove the [plugin-name]
subfolder
Go To [Macintosh HD]/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST
and remove the [plugin-name].vst
file
Go To [Macintosh HD]/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3
and remove the [plugin-name].vst3
file
- if exists (*)
Go To [Macintosh HD]/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components
and remove the [plugin-name].component
file
Go To [Macintosh HD]/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/D16 Group
and remove the [plugin-name].aaxplugin
file
- if exists (*)
Empty system Trash Can
Some D16 products aren't available as VST3 and/or AAX plug-ins, so if you weren't able to find those files, you can omit those steps of the instruction
Now the plugin is now completely removed from your system.
