Solution for PC users

  1. Close your DAW before proceeding further
  2. Go to "/Users/[your windows users name]/AppData/Roaming/D16 Group" folder on your system drive

    Can't find AppData folder?

If you can't find AppData folder then click on the View tab (in the file explorer), above Show/hide check Hidden Items.

    ...

  3. Find subfolder corresponding the plugin's name and go inside the subfolder
  4. Remove file with .d16key extension
  5. Empty trash bin

Once you do so, open DAW and try to reactivate the plugin, it should work fine.

Solution for Mac users

  1. Close your DAW before proceeding further
  2. Go to ~/Library/Application Support/D16 Group

    What does ~ mean?

The ~ symbol represents your user’s home directory. The ~/Library folder is often hidden in Finder and may not be visible by default.

If you cannot see it, use the method:

    1. Open Finder.
    2. From the Go menu, choose Go to Folder…
    3. Type: ~/Library
    4. Finder will open the hidden Library folder.
    5. Navigate to Application Support -> D16 Group.
  3. Find subfolder corresponding the plugin's name and go inside the subfolder
  4. Remove file with .d16key extension
  5. Empty trash bin

Once you do so, open DAW and try to reactivate the plugin, it should work fine.
