After installation plug-in doesn't show up in Propellerheads Reason

If plug-in you've just installed doesn't show up on plug-in list in Reason first make sure all Software Requirements are met by your setup.

Also if you're Windows user

  • Try out the solution described in this entry at our FAQ. It's possible that some system runtime libraries required by plug-in are missing. This concerns especially relatively fresh Windows installations.

  • Still no success? Try forcing Reason to do full plug-in re-scan:

    1. Close Reason.
    2. Go to \Users\[your windows user name]\AppData\Local\Propellerheads Software\Reason\ folder on your system partition.
    3. Remove __PluginDatabase.dat file.
    4. Start Reason
